The ASGO (Autism Society of Greater Orlando) is having a walk on May 24 in Orlando. Lynn has started an autism social hour in Winter Haven. They are meeting the last Tuesday of the month from 6:30-7:30 at Hope Lutheran Church. All ages are welcome. Lynn also discussed starting a private school in our area for spectrum kids, as many parents cannot find the right fit in the present public school system. One of our members mentioned an inclusion class where her son is now attending. The class consists of 1 regular ed teacher, 1 special ed teacher and two paras. There are only 15 kids in the class and it also provides OT support for these students. It is the only class of its kind presently in the county.
